Lt. Governor Responds To O’Malley’s Controversial Statement

Maryland Lt. Governor Anthony Brown responded to Governor Martin O'Malley's somewhat controversial statement last weekend that the country is not better off now than four years ago. The governor’s comments raised some eyebrows among democrat’s just days before the start of the National Convention. Brown did not contradict O'Malley, who later clarified the comment from the Sunday talk shows, particularly on CBS' Face the Nation that he meant the President's approaches have made things better and that George W. Bush's policies were to blame for creating the economic mess. Brown said we have "made a lot of progress under President Obama" because of the steps the President took…
