Luke Mill employees will get Free Delfest tickets for Sunday Shows

May 15th, 2019 by WCBC Radio

Del McCoury and family are continuing to give back to the local community- announcing Wednesday that any Verso employee and family will have free passes to the Sunday May 26th  DelFest performances. The annual festival once again will be held Memorial Day weekend at the County Fairgrounds. A representative for DelFest told WCBC News that the bluegrass legend learned about the Verso decision to close the Luke Mill via a facebook post from County Administrator Brandon Butler.  Del and his wife Jean have a background in the lumber industry prior to his music career taking off. Any Verso Luke Mill employee and their family will be admitted free to the festival on the 26th. Del and Jean will be guests Thursday morning on WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” .
