MACo Aiming To Increase Clout In General Assembly

A coalition of rural Maryland counties aiming to increase their clout in the General Assembly now includes 10 members with the recent addition of Kent County.  Kent County commissioners voted to join the coalition Dec. 4. The coalition, formed a year ago, now includes Allegany, Caroline, Carroll, Cecil, Dorchester, Frederick, Kent, Somerset, Washington and Wicomico counties, representing 939,980 rural Maryland residents.
