On Tuesday troopers from the Cumberland barrack were enforcing traffic on MD Rt. 40 at Orleans Rd in Allegany County when they observed a seat belt violation by the operator of a Jeep. A traffic stop led to the subsequent search and arrest of two Pennsylvania men for possession of CDS. The search yielded a total of 5.8 pounds of marijuana and THC laced baked goods, 4.4 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 40 Adderall pills and 8 Xanax pills all of which were packaged for resale along with several items of paraphernalia and $885 cash. Three felony charges of possession with intent to distribute were filed on Francis N. Maiolo and Noah W. Bann, both residents of Pittsburgh, PA.
