Major endorsements rolling in for Hogan

October 21st, 2014 by WCBC Radio

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is making his second trip to Maryland to support Republican Larry Hogan's bid for governor.

Christie is scheduled to attend a fundraiser in Potomac on Tuesday. After that, he's scheduled to make a campaign stop at the Original Pancake House in Bethesda.

Christie is the chairman of the Republican Governors Association. He helped raise more than $400,000 last month at a fundraiser in Bethesda.

Hogan is using public campaign financing, which means he will be limited to spending about $2.6 million for his campaign. However, the Maryland Republican Party can raise money for a fund that can be spent on Hogan's behalf.

Former U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge was scheduled to attend a fundraiser for Hogan on Monday evening.
