On Friday at approximately 11:54AM, the Maryland State Police Cumberland Barrack received the following complaint. Brian Russell Price, 40, went to his former girlfriend’s house. Once there he had assaulted her, held a knife to her throat and attempted to smother her with a pillow. After hours of being assaulted and threatened, Price kidnapped her at knife point and forced her to drive around in her vehicle. She was able to escape at a gas station and called 911. At approximately 8:00 PM, the Maryland State Police located and arrested Price on the below listed charges. Price was processed, taken to a District Court Commissioner and held at the Allegany County Jail on $250,000.00 bond.
Charges: Kidnapping, Carjacking, Dangerous Weapon-Intent to Injure, Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Malicious Destruction Of property, Theft, and numerous other offenses.
