Man Arrested After Fayette Street Incident

On Saturday evening at 11:22 PM the Cumberland Police responded to a residence in the 800 block of Fayette Street in reference to a subject bleeding.

Police learned Brandon Arthur Simpson had allegedly knocked on the window of the Fayette Street residence. When the occupants opened the door they found Simpson bleeding and wanted him removed from the property. The Cumberland Fire Department responded to treat his minor injuries.

Simpson became belligerent toward fire department personnel and began yelling. Officers told Simpson to stop yelling, but he refused. Simpson was arrested for Fail to Obey and was transported to the police department where he was issued a criminal citation and released pending trial in District Court.
