Allegany County Sheriff’s Office responded to Cobblestone Road in Mt Savage for a disturbance call at approx 7:45PM on 8/28/11. Upon arrival, deputies met with the complaintant who stated that her neighbor had come onto her property and got into an argument with her. At one point, the neighbor 18 year old Ronald Davis Jr of Mt Savage picked up a kitten and alledegly killed it. When the deputies attempted to arrest Davis, he resisted and punched one of the officers in the face. He was taken into custody and charged with the following crimes:
Animal Cruelty
2nd degree assault on police
Disorderly conduct
Resisting arrest
Obstructing and hindering
Disturbing the peace
Distruction of Property
He was held on $5000 bond by a District Court Commissioner and taken to the Allegany County Detention Center.
