Man dies in fall at Clarysville Bridge

According to information from scanner broadcasts, a man reportedly jumped to his death from the Clarysville Bridge Friday night as police stopped to check his vehicle that was reported as disabled on the Interstate 68 span. First responders found him lying on Vale Summit Road about 8:15 p.m.  The Allegany County Sheriff's Office and Maryland State Police responded along with Frostburg and Midland firefighters. Vale Summit Road was closed for about three hours
