On Saturday, September 15th, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Maxwell Ray Redman for assault. The warrant was issued by District Court in reference to an investigation back on September 4th 2018 at a Harrison Street residence. Cumberland Police responded and talk to a female victim that claimed that Redman punched her in the face. Officers at that time did observe injuries that were consistent with her statement. Redman was taken before the District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.
