Maplehurst deal falls through

A group of investors headed by local businessman David Weimer were unable to come to terms on a price Wednesday, ending an effort to purchase the former Maplehurst Country Club in Frostburg. The asking price is said to be in the $900,000 range with the Weimer group offering $720,000.

    Who set the asking price? $720,000 Will keep it in operation and that was discussed during the stockholders meeting.
