Maryland Boasts Rise in Graduation Rates

Maryland is reporting its highest high school graduation rate in several years. According to WBAL Newsd, data just released show the high school drop out rate has also increased slightly. The State Department of Education says 87% of high school students in Maryland graduated in June- up a half a percent from last year and 2% since 2007. However, data shows that the high school drop out rate in Maryland is up from last year to 3.2%.
