The business climate in Maryland is often criticized as too heavy on regulations and taxes and that was a theme at Thursday night’s Mountain Maryland PACE Legislative Reception at the Lowes Annapolis Hotel. The executive director of the Allegany County Chamber of Commerce, Stu Czapski, told WCBC News that he would give the state a low grade for its business climate.
