Maryland College Campus To Get Bulletproof Shield Device

Professors at a college campus in Maryland may want to take some lessons from Captain America on using a shield because they will have bulletproof type device in the classroom this fall. Various University of Maryland professors will be using a high tech tablet whiteboard in the classroom that measures 18 by 20 inches and can be used as a shield if a gunman would enter the room and start shooting. Hardwire LLC, the Maryland Company that makes the boards says on its website that the board weighs less than 4 pounds, covers the head and torso when used as a shield and absorbs multiple rounds of ammo from any handgun or shotgun without ricochet or injury….
