Maryland Comptroller Wants Special Session To Be Held

Although many republicans say they are content to move ahead with the “doomsday” budget and its $500 million in cuts- Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot says it’s imperative that a special session be held, and there will be a need to implement revenue streams. He says the General Assembly’s failure to adopt a legitimate budget during the 90 regular sessions was an exercise in incompetence…
