Maryland's congressional delegation is reacting following the late Monday resignation of national security adviser Michael Flynn.
Sen. Ben Cardin, the ranking member on the Senate foreign relations committee, called for further investigation of Flynn's and other White House officials' ties to Russia. Flynn resigned after it was revealed he misled Vice President Mike Pence and other administration officials about the nature of his post-election conversations with the Russian ambassador to the United States. The Justice Department warned the White House several weeks ago that Flynn was vulnerable to Russian blackmail.
Is #Flynn the only one who has been compromised? We don't know. We need to learn more.

An independent commission is the only way we can get a complete picture of what #Russia has been doing and who was involved. #flynn

We need a 9/11-style independent commission to investigate Russia's role in our election. #Flynn's actions make this all the more important
