Maryland, Federal Tax Deadline Extension End Today

As Comptroller Peter Franchot put it: all good things must come to an end. For both Maryland and the federal government, taxpayers were given a three-month extension on filing and paying their 2019 tax returns, and that extension ends (today) Wednesday.  Franchot told WCBC News on Tuesday that his office is waiting on around 700,000 filers. He said his office is willing to work with taxpayers who can't pay all the money they owe right away as long as those filers reach out to his office…
