The Maryland General Assembly is continuing its march toward groundbreaking gun control legislation. The General Assembly session concludes Monday, and with Democratic majorities in both houses and Governor Martin O’Malley pushing strongly for gun control, it appears that Maryland will have some of the most stringent laws in the country. A caller to WCBC’s Dave Norman Show said the lawmakers are considering unprecedented measures, such as not allowing persons who received “probation before judgment” the opportunity to purchase guns.
