The number of Marylanders traveling this Thanksgiving holiday is projected to dip slightly compared to last year’s holiday, according to AAA Mid-Atlantic. Approximately 903,000 Marylanders are expected to travel 50 miles or more round trip, a decrease of 1.2 percent compared to 2012. It is traditionally the biggest travel weekend of the year- and with a winter storm hitting Maryland, AAA says it's important for motorist to exercise more caution than usual.
