Independent insurance agents in Maryland say they are upset and disappointed by the lack of presence they have on the state's healthcare website. The incoming chairman of the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Maryland told WBAL Radio they have expressed anger to officials because it is not obvious to the user where to find a broker on Maryland Health Connection.gov. Jay Duke is the owner of Waring Ahearn Insurance Agency in southern Maryland. He says he and others have been involved in meetings and with the details on the state's rollout of the healthcare website since 2010. Duke says brokers were mislead by state leaders about their role in the process….
