Although Maryland has seen some steady job growth in recent moinths, the August jobs report from the federal government shows unemployment holding at 9.1 per cent and no net jobs created last month. Financial analysts believe it’s just more evidence that, while the economy not be in a formal recession, it’s still hurting.
