For the first time in a decade, Maryland has seen a slight decrease in the number of deaths caused by opioid overdoses. From January through September 2019, the state recorded 1,574 deadly opioid overdoses — 79 deaths fewer than the same period in 2018, according to numbers released by the Maryland Department of Health. For that same time period, Allegany County saw 12 fewer deaths. Allegany County Sheriff Craig Robertson said that progress is being made, but its not fast enough, and the crisis is continuing…

governments will be doing handwringing about this.After everyone has steadily died for years; yes you will see a decline in overdoses according to the law of averages. Do not allow media to scare you either. Live right and surround yourself with those who do likewise and ignore the “epidemic.”
