The Maryland Senate voted last night to ban hydraulic fracking on a vote of 35 to 10. The bill now goes to Governor Larry Hogan, who has said he will sign it. Prior to the vote, District 1 Senator George Edwards offered an amendment to extend the moratorium for 10 years, but it was voted down on a voice vote. Edwards then addressed his colleagues…
