Maryland’s Slot Commission Rejects Proposal

Maryland's slot machine commission on Wednesday rejected a proposal by Allegany Entertainment Group and Potts Gaming to put 200 slot machines at Rocky Gap State Park. That leaves Landow Partners of Maryland and Evitts Resort of Texas as the remaining two separate viable proposals for a slots operation at Rocky Gap. The Allegany group was rejected as it failed to include much of the paperwork and documentation required in the RFP.  Allegany County Commissioner Bill Valentine, who attended the meeting, tells WCBC News that the two remaining groups have presented vastly different proposals for a slots operation…
