April 3rd, 2016 by WCBC Radio

Saturday at about 11 PM, deputies of the Allegany County Sheriff's Office responded to a Marsh Manor Court address in McCoole Maryland in reference to a subject violating a peace order. Upon arrival deputies made contact with a female who advised she and her husband had both obtained separate peace orders regarding a male subject identified as sixty (60) year old Steven Brady Markle, also of McCoole. The District Court peace order stated that Markle was not to have contact with the female or her husband. Throughout the evening Markle had been driving past the female's residence yelling comments towards both petitioners.

Deputies made contact with Markle at his residence and attempted to question him about the incident. Markle appeared to be intoxicated and refused to cooperate with deputies and was taken into custody after a brief struggle. Steven Markle was charged with the following crimes in reference to the incident.

Two (2) counts of Failure to Comply with a Peace Order
One (1) count of Resisting Arrest

Markle was transported to the District Court of Allegany County where he was taken before a commissioner for an initial hearing. Markle was held at the Allegany County Detention Center on $3000.00 bail.
