The most hotly contested race Tuesday night was for House of Delegates District 1C as Republicans Mike McKay and Ray Givens squared off. The results were not official until after 11 p.m. and McKay won with 56% of the vote. The incumbent Allegany County commissioner felt grateful for the win and was complimentary of his opponent.
