MD Red Cross Volunteers Heading To Texas

Red Cross volunteers from across Maryland are heading to Texas. WBAL reports almost 100 people from the Greater Chesapeake Region Red Cross have deployed to Texas to help hurricane victims. The Greater Chesapeake Region Red Cross has sent volunteers every day since Wednesday, and they expect to continue for quite some time. Scott Salemme, CEO of the Greater Chesapeake Region Red Cross, says their primary goal is to make sure people have a safe shelter, but this situation is still unfolding and they expect to have volunteers there for weeks or even longer…
