MD Superintendent Of Schools Says State Career Training Programs Cannot Be Overlooked

Maryland’s Superintendent of Schools says when analyzing the strengths of any public school system in the state- career training program opportunities cannot be overlooked. The Center for Career and Technical Education in Cresaptown has been providing area high school students with the opportunity to graduate career ready since 1972. The Career Center provides a wide variety of offerings designed to train students in specialized skill areas, preparing them to enter the job market.  State Superintendent Karen Salmon says that while the primary focus is academics, the state cannot afford to overlook the need to prepare students for traditional and nontraditional jobs…
