MD’s Western Counties Considering Joining Forces

Maryland’s five western most counties are considering joining forces to have a stronger voice in Annapolis.  Allegany County Commissioners President Mike McKay announced during the regular business meeting that he has met recently with the commissioners from four other counties to discuss the possibility of hiring a lobbyist to represent the region down state when the Maryland General Assembly session begins in January.
