Maryland Senate President Mike Miller says he's not disappointed that Beretta USA chose not expand its plant in the state of Maryland this week. Reported on earlier this week, the company will build a new factory in Tennessee, not Maryland, creating 300 jobs. According to WBAL News, Miller said Tennessee has laws that allow people to carry guns on playgrounds, and those laws would jeopardize public safety in Maryland.
