The results of Mineral County's contested primary election are as follows:
Board of Education: Craig Rotruck, 1,569; William "Butch" Wahl, 1,187.
Mineral County Commission, Republican ticket: Jerry Whisner, 1,400; Leon Ravenscroft, 936.
Mineral County Sheriff, Democratic ticket: Craig Fraley, 1,343; Craig Courtney, 448.
House of Delegates 56th District, Republican ticket: Gary Howell, 1,065; Bob Harman, 496.
House of Delegates 57th District, Republican ticket: Ruth Rowan, 194; Terry Craver, 78.
