On 6/19/2013, the following persons were reported missing and last seen in the LaVale, Allegany County, MD area: Heather Michelle Kernan, age 23, Justin Wayne Faith, age 29
On 7/22/13 at approximately 11:10 PM EST, Kernan and Faith were located and arrested in the San Diego, CA area. They were found after a long and exhaustive collaborative investigation between the Maryland State Police Cumberland Barrack, San Diego, CA Police Department and the Allegany County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Kernan is being held on drug charges, her and Faith both are being held in a San Diego, CA detention facility on NO BOND pending charges. Additionally, they will both be extradited back to Maryland to face felony theft charges.
