Maryland State Police investigated a motorcycle accident that occurred east of Westernport on Route 135 Saturday evening just after 6 PM.
47-year old James Tasker, of Mount Savage, lost control of the cycle and hit an embankment. He was taken to Western Maryland Health System by Tri Towns Ambulance.
The trooper involved in the investigation told WCBC News Saturday evening that the injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
Westernport firefighters also responded.
