Mt. Savage Water Project 75% Complete

Following a decade of planning and design work, the $8 million Mt. Savage Water Project is now 75% completed. Final completion of the project is scheduled for the spring of 2014. Paul Kahl, County Public Works Director said it’s now time for residents to make final arrangements to connect to the new County System. Approximately 100 residents have already completed the hookup process. Another 150 residents have been notified that they can now hookup to the system. County Administrator David Eberly says that due to the completion of the initial phase of construction approximately 80 residents must connect to the new system by December 31 as a portion of the old system will be shut down. County staff this week hand carried a final hookup notice to these residents..
