Downtown Manager Ed Mullaney says in addition to creating a safer, friendlier environment on the mall- the recent increased police presence is helping to attract potential new businesses as well. Mullaney says locating in an area perceived as safe, with little or no crime has always been attractive to businesses when looking to locate- and he says there is clear evidence that is now happening downtown.
