A head-on collision on Route 28 in Wiley Ford just before noon Friday has left one person dead, and another transported from the scene with injuries. Responding to the scene were Wiley Ford, Ridgeley, Short Gap and Cumberland fire and ems units, the West Virginia Division of Highways and the Mineral County Sheriff's office which is conducting the investigation.
