Delegate LeRoy Myers, the 3-term Republican legislator representing district 1-C in the Maryland General Assembly plans to announce that he will be running for Washington County Commissioner in 2014. In a statement released Thursday afternoon, Myers said that while he is ready to leave Annapolis, he is not ready to leave public service, saying he believes he still has a lot to offer Western Maryland and Washington County.
