Delegate Leroy Myers says he tried his best to pass legislation to help residents of Little Orleans reduce the bus ride to school for their children but ultimately he was unsuccessful. The Allegany County Board of Education put a stop to the program of paying Washington County to educate students from eastern Allegany County by sending the students to Hancock.
