Myriad Of Problems Face Canal Place Authority

A  myriad of problems face the Canal Place Preservation and Development Authority- ranging from a growing concern over transients camping out on the property;  the rapidly deteriorating Footer Dye Works building- and most notably, the ongoing struggle to attract and retain business at the Shops at Canal Place.  A new executive director- Dee Dee Ritchie- is now on the job, and the top priority remains attracting new businesses and keeping the few companies currently on site on board. Although he cannot site specifics, Board Chair Andy Vick said there are a “number of irons in the fire”…
