WCBC News was first to report Wednesday afternoon that Ibex Biosciences will be establishing operation in Cumberland at the former location of McClarren and Williams in the old Westside Fire Station. Matt Miller is the acting Executive Director of the Cumberland Economic Development Corporation, and told WCBC that Ibex will start small, and then grow over time…
According to Miller, Ibex will be doing a lot of stem cell research and gene therapy…at the cutting edge of medical biotechnology.
