New Funds for Uninsured Marylanders

United States Senators to Maryland Barbara Mikulski and Ben Cardin, working alongside with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebellius announced new funding to help more uninsured Marylanders enroll in affordable health insurance. In Maryland, an estimated $1.6 million is available to support 16 community health centers including the Western Maryland Health Care Corp in Oakland. The new funds are a part of coverage available by the Affordable Care Act.
