Skylar Dice was named vice president and general manager of the Rocky Gap Casino Resort, according to a release from Golden Entertainment Inc., the resort's owner.
Dice will be responsible for the overall management of the AAA 4 Diamond resort, casino and Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course.
Dice previously served as director of gaming operations with Rocky Gap Casino, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the slot and table game departments and focusing on optimizing gaming revenue, all while maintaining a world-class guest experience at the resort. His more than 20 years of gaming experience includes key leadership positions in several state and Tribal gaming jurisdictions including Maryland, Pittsburgh, Sacramento and Detroit.
Having worked with the Rocky Gap leadership team for more than two years, Dice’s goal is to expand upon the success of the property, providing an even greater experience to both casino players and resort guests alike.
“I look forward to leading our award-winning team in the continued success of the property,” Dice said. “We have a great opportunity to assist our local leadership with community relations programs, and will do our part to keep Western Maryland a world-class tourism destination.”
