New Law Requires School Bake Sales To Be Healthy

A new law aimed at child obesity regulates the traditional options that one used to see frequenting a bake sale table.  Bake sales in schools have traditionally helped fund everything from band uniforms to field trips- but they may be a tougher sell in Maryland now. Cookies and donuts are out, while granola bars and fruit cups are in. Fines await schools who sell goods that don't meet the new nutritional enforcement.  With the start of a new school year just around the corner, Stephanie Armour, reporter for The Wall Street Journal, talks about the law and the fact that Maryland opted for the most stringent guidelines to follow.
