Troy Ravenscroft is the new Mineral County Superintendent of Schools. He officially began his duties in July- but things obviously have picked up now with the start of a new school year. He tells WCBC News that like most school systems across the nation- providing safe schools for kids is a top priority. Due to a tight fiscal period- the system- which operates 14 educational facilities- cannot provide an officer in every school….
