New Report Not Flattering For Retirement In Maryland

There is a new report out this morning about the worst states to retire and Maryland has made the top ten list. Bankrate.com lists Maryland at 7th place in a tie with Vermont. Maryland's high costs of living and high state and local taxes are some of the reasons for it's poor ranking. Maryland's crime rate also is worse than the national average, and Vermont's weather could be tough on a lot of retirees. The worst state in which to retire New York.
