Maryland State Police have charged a Northern Garrett High School teacher with sexual abuse of a minor, child pornography and displaying obscene material to a minor. According to the Cumberland Times-News, Richard A. McCrobie Jr., 42, of Grantsville, was arrested by troopers on Friday after an investigation dating started in July found he had allegedly allowed students unsupervised access to computers on school premises. In addition, McRobie provided access to pornographic materials to students, according to the state police. McCrobie was processed at the McHenry barrack and taken for a bond hearing before a district court commissioner.
