Maryland Natural Resources Police arrested 9 people during the past week for illegal hunting activities in Allegany and Garrett Counties. Seven of the nine were from downstate, while a pair of locals were arrested a week ago and charged with 14 counts for multiple offenses. In that operation, two deer and three rifles were confiscated.
