The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  East central Allegany County in western Maryland...
  West central Morgan County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...
  Northeastern Hampshire County in eastern West Virginia...

* Until 330 PM EDT.

* At 240 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Paw Paw to 11 miles east of Romney, moving northeast
  at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Allegany County in western Maryland...
  Northwestern Morgan County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...
  Northeastern Mineral County in eastern West Virginia...

* Until 300 PM EDT.

* At 216 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Lake Gordon to near Fort Ashby, moving east at
  20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches
           to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as
           damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by
           downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
           Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

* Locations impacted include...
  Paw Paw, Flintstone, Oldtown, Spring Gap, Little Orleans, Pleasant
  Valley, Bellegrove, Wagoner, Pumpkin Center, Green Ridge and
  Magnolia.

* Until 300 PM EDT.

* At 210 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southwest
  of Romney, moving east at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches
           to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as
           damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by
           downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.

  Romney, Augusta, Shanks, Three Churches, Frenchburg, Junction and
  Wapocomo.
