Music fans in Maryland and throughout the country may be turning their attention to Columbia, Maryland in August as one of the most iconic music festival brands may be coming to Merriweather Post Pavilion.
On Thursday, news broke through a report from Bloomberg, that the organizers of the Woodstock 50th anniversary festival may be moving to the outdoor amphitheater in Columbia.
WBAL-TV 11 was able to confirm that the festival organizers and Howard County officials were actively negotiating to bring the festival to Merriweather, which most likely would take place on Aug. 16 through Aug. 18.
