O’Malley Administration Backing Away From Major Enviromental Initiatives Says MACO

The Maryland Association of Counties (MACO) believes that the O’Malley administration will back away from any further major environmental initiatives in the next few years.  MACO Executive Director Michael Sanderson told the Allegany County Commissioners that while concepts such as Plan Maryland and the Flush Tax pushed by Governor Martin O’Malley in the past few years have led to lengthy legislative battles.
